BNC promoting heritage science

BNC has been active in the analysis of objects of cultural heritage, which has developed into a broad  multidisciplinary field of science of lively international collaborations, such as the IPERION HS approaching its completion and the newly forming E-RIHS. Researchers of BNC are internationally recognized in heritage science. Sections of the first book of its category, Springer's "Handbook of Cultural Heritage Analysis" by colleagues Drs. Zsolt Kasztovszky, Adél Len, Katalin Bajnok, late János Füzi, László Szentmiklósi, Zoltán Kis, Boglárka Maróti were well received by the community. Besides, Dr. Zsolt Kasztovszky is the editor of the chapter entitled 'Large Facilities and Cultural Heritage'. Last week saw the first in-person round table discussion of the Heritage @ BNC group after the pandemic. 14 colleagues from across the BNC attended the meeting including two new members.
